1. Message reactions in conferences and private dialogues
Now you can react to any message in conferences or private dialogues. Click the mouse right button on any message (you can react to your own messages too). There are 16 reaction emojis available:
Leave a new reaction or join an existing one in case someone has already reacted:
All reactions are counted and sorted. Yours is colored in red, and others are blue. If you change your mind and want to remove the reaction, then click on the red number next to your reaction and it will get canceled. Or choose another reaction to change your decision.
You can find out who, how, and when react to a message. To do this, hover the mouse over the number of reactions and MyChat will show a hint with a list in chronological order:
Reactions work on desktop applications for Windows, Linux, and macOS. This feature will be available for mobile applications in the next versions.
An admin can forbid message reactions if your organization does not need it. As usual, permissions are in the Rights Control section on the Admin Panel:
By default, reactions are allowed for everyone.
2. Inserting tables in chat using Integration API
You can insert tables with formatted text in MyChat. Tables can have a difficult structure.
Also, select all or certain cells to copy data to the clipboard.
In this version tables are inserted only via Integration API. In the next versions, we are planning to add a visual tool for Windows applications to do the same operation as in MS Word.
Tables are displayed and work in all MyChat applications with insignificant visual differences.
3. Voice messages on iOS
Record, send, and play voice messages on iPhone/iPad application. As usual, you can limit this feature using groups of rights on the Admin Panel. By default, voice message sharing is allowed.
4. Various improvements
Android and iOS applications display notifications about the message-typing process in private dialogues and conferences. The program also shows who is typing, and from which device.
The Windows application log contains information about the notification regarding the use of the MyChat Server free version.
Important! We removed the limitation for viewing message history for the last 30 days in a free version.

6. How to update to the latest version?
Both commercial and free versions are updated in the same way. The server is updated first, then the clients. In general, this process is performed automatically.
