Error #70087: server's databases are corrupted

 

Error description

One or more MyChat databases are corrupted as a result of disk error, emergency shut down, or operating system failure. This case requires a repair and backup copy restore.

 

Problem solution

Usually, MyChat Server automatically restarts in a special repair mode. However, if the auto-repair fails, you should restore the server's databases from an automatic backup copy.

 

Database backup copies are written weekly in the folder C:\DocumentsProgramData\MyChat Server\backup\

Periodicity, creation time, and a folder for storing backup copies are configured in the section "Settings" - "Backups".

 

To restore databases from backups you need:

  1. Stop MyChat Server, shut down its work.
  2. Make a backup copy of the folder C:\ProgramData\MyChat Server\db\
  3. Rewrite all files from ZIP archive of the backup copy in the folder C:\ProgramData\MyChat Server\db\
  4. Launch MyChat Server
