We require edit message (on posted one) option on mychat being used from android and ios platform.

The message editing option is available from the context menu of a text message, if editing is enabled in the user rights on the server. It works on both iOS and Android.

i have checked everything but not found a solution for this. please give step-by-step guidance for enable edit sent text from android or ios.

By default, the rights to edit messages are applied to all user groups. Have you checked this setting on the Admin Panel?

The time for editing messages is limited (15 minutes, by default). Perhaps you are trying to edit a message after 15 minutes have passed?

Long-tap on your recently sent message and select "Modify".

both options are showing enabled but still not able to edit messages even after trying for edit immediate after sending it. is this because of i have logged in on both pc and android with same user?

So, there is no "Modify" option in the context menu at all?
Are your applications updated to the latest version?
Also, could you send a screenshot of the context menu that appears when you long-tap your most recent sent message?

Also, could you send a screenshot of your Admin Panel, where the rule for editing is enabled for both private dialogues and conferences? Just to make sure.

Could you please confirm that the user has been added to the rights group where these permissions work? Also, what type of message are they trying to edit? At the moment, only text messages can be modified.

all users are currently under guest group and same group having editing option enabled. also they are trying to edit one single liner text. it is editable from pc but same user can not do with android or ios.

Could you try increasing the allowed number of minutes for testing, to make sure the issue isn’t caused by your server’s local time settings?

i have changed edit limit time to 3 hours but issue remain same.

Could you create a test user on your server with a similar set of permissions and provide the account credentials and server connection details via private message so that we can verify everything on our side?
